The sepia, vignette and older people all lend themselves well to an old photo that you might find hidden away in your grandparent’s old dresser drawer up in their attic or something. Interesting treatment indeed. I would time the walking subjects a bit more and have them not interfering with the sight line of the clock. I would have captured them to the right of the clock, which could tie into a concept of older age, past their prime, not much time left, time is not on their side. That sort of thing.

I interpret this shot as “movement of time” of some sort. The sepia tone, the classy clock and the reversed vignetting are what give me that feel.
reminds me of the movie Back to the Future, the one where they use the lightning bolt that hits the clocktower. The tone entirely changes the mood.
