the bicyclist

This weekend, I was walking around with ‘movement’ still on the brain and I saw this guy riding his bike in the thick of traffic. When I took this shot, I didn’t look through viewfinder or at the screen, but rather, I just snapped it in his general direction. Often times, I enjoy taking photos this way and just seeing what I come up with. I love happy accidents and leaving it all up to chance.

The way this shot has come to life is a nice way, but tricky. If i am honest I think this shot has nothing special for me and is it just a click like you describe. If you take the time to look trough your viewfinder or screen, you can make this shot more interesting, like trying to get your subject sharp and the background blurred or vise versa.
