the bicyclist
This weekend, I was walking around with ‘movement’ still on the brain and I saw this guy riding his bike in the thick of traffic. When I took this shot, I didn’t look through viewfinder or at the screen, but rather, I just snapped it in his general direction. Often times, I enjoy taking photos this way and just seeing what I come up with. I love happy accidents and leaving it all up to chance.
Submerged connections
Yesterday I went out and bought me Seculine Twin1 R4N IR remote for my D200. I still have an Infrared remote for my old D70s, but unfortunately the D200 doesn’t come with a built-in IR receiver. Unfortunately I didn’t have more than an hour to experiment with it yet, since I needed to pick up a friend from the railway station here in Frankfurt. On my way to the station I spent some time at the subway station at Willy Brand Platz, where I took this multi exposed shot.
Blue Friday
I took this shot two weeks back when visiting the Museum of Modern Art in Frankfurt am Main. Although the exposed art was brought down to a minimum at the time that I visited I must say that I was very impressed with the modern sterility of the complex, which dates back to 1991. This photo was taken from one of the balconies overlooking the main room of the museum at the moment these people entered.
Sixed up
I can’t do much more than agree with Jurian. We had a fun afternoon, however short it was. We had about 30 minutes together to get some shots, and were lucky enough to spot this guy in a nearby park. We both agreed upon posting shots of this joint session, and after seeing Jurian’s post I believe there’s no need for doubts, our shots are quite different.
